The Lacamas Community Fair has been in operation since 1929 - 81 Years!!

How to Enter the Fair and General Rules

• Bring your exhibits, except live animals, to the fairgrounds on Thursday. August 26, 2010 from 12pm-7pm

• No entry fees or pre-registration required. You do not need to be a 4-Her or FFA member to participate If you are bringing a live animal to exhibit please refer to the rules for each animal department. Exhibitors of all ages are encouraged to enter in every department.

• All still life exhibits, must remain at the fair until Sunday @ 4 pm. live animals must remain until 4 pm of their designated day.

• Failure to comply will result in loss of ribbons, Trophies, and/or premiums.

• No exhibits shall be eligible for premiums more than one year except for live animals required. Required number of goods must be exhibited to be eligible for ribbons or premiums. All exhibits are judged by the Danish System. Ribbons and premiums shall be awarded in all departments.

• The Premium (amount of money) to be paid per point will be determined by the Fair Committee. Points are awarded according to size of entry and color of ribbon awarded. See departments for list of premium points.

• Premiums will be paid at close of fair on Sunday, after the fairgrounds are cleared of exhibits, decorations and waste. Premiums not picked up on Sunday may be picked up at the Community Club meeting on the first Wednesday in September or October at 7pm, after which they will be donated to the fair general fund.

• No Premiums will be mailed.

• Age divisions are as follows: Adult: 19 years & older; Youth: Up to 18 years of age or senior in high school. Specific age divisions of youth, where applicable, are determined by last grade completed as follows: Senior: 9th-12th; Intermediate: 6th-8th; Junior: 3rd-5th; Small Fry: 2nd & under; Lead Line: Under 7 years (horse dept. only)
